Dorothy Whitson Freed
Dorothy Whitson Freed MNZM (10 February 1919 – 1 April 2000) was a New Zealand author, composer and music historian.[1] She was born in Dunedin, and was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to music in the 1998 Queen's Birthday Honours.[2] She died at Wellington in 2000.[3]
