Douglas Bunn

Douglas Bunn (1 March 1928 - 16 June 2009) was a British barrister, businessman and founder and chairman of the All England Jumping Course at Hickstead.[1]

He founded Hickstead in 1960 and was also responsible for such innovations in equestrian eventing as team chasing.[2]

He bankrolled Hickstead for many years on the proceeds of his family's caravan park business, putting as much as £300,000 into the facility every year.[3]
