Downtown Erbil is a project for a large-scale mixed-use complex in Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan. The $3 billion project was launched by the Emaar Properties, the Persian Gulf region's largest land and real estate developer.[1][2] Emaar Properties is well known for its big projects like Downtown Dubai or Burj Khalifa.

Downtown Erbil will cover an area of 541,000 square meters and contain residential apartments, hotels and a shopping Mall.[3]
