Siavash Arani, M.D (May 19, 1976) based in Los Angeles, California, is an author and medical doctor who specializes in treating sexually transmitted diseases and related human papilloma virus (HPV) infection.[1][2]
He is considered to be the pioneer on successful treatment methodology of HPV related growth such as Condyloma Acuminata infection and practice model for diagnostic and treating STDs in the U.S. and author of the book "HPV: The Silent Intruder".[3]
History and achievements
Arani is a former instructor and assistant clinical professor of Loma Linda University, School of Medicine. He graduated from the Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) in 1999 with an MD degree followed by a medical graduate clinical training at Mayo Clinic Hospital and Maricopa Medical Center in Arizona. He was appointed the Instructor of medicine at Loma Linda University School of Medicine (Loma Linda, CA) in 2002.[4][5][6]
He later rose to become the assistant clinical professor of medicine at LLU in 2003 and subsequently founded the STD/HPV diagnostic and treatment institutions in California in 2004.[7] On April 11, 2006, Dr Arani received an appereciation letter from the then president of the United States of America, president George W. Bush after he made a suggestion to the white house as an executive branch of the U.S. Government regarding public health and quality of care for all, specially non-insured patients.[8][9] As at 2007, he introduced the three step micro-surgical destruction method of HPV warts removal.
By 2011 he ranked first among top 10 academic or non-academic treatment institution in the U.S. As best treatment center for high outpatient recovery rate as well as excellent medical facility for treatment.[10] In 2013, he published a book on HPV, The Silent Intruder, being the first easy understanding and in-depth review of Human Papilloma Virus consistent of 19 chapters.[11]
