Droïds was a short lived, French, space disco band that emerged in the late 70's during the Star Wars craze. Helmed by Yves Hayet, the band produced two singles and one album, before "leaving planet Earth".[2]
Influenced by other contemporary electronic music artists, such as Jean-Michel Jarre and Space, their style was mostly bouncy, electronic, instrumental pop music.
