Drotops is a genus of trilobites from the order Phacopida, family Phacopidae. This genus is from the Devonian period and can be found in Morocco. Drotops is large in comparison to most other trilobite genera, lengths of eight inches are common. Drotops can be distinguished from other genera in this family by its size. It looks generally like a very large Phacops with small spines emanating from its exoskeleton.
