Dryopida
Dryopida (Greek: Δρυοπίδα) is a village in Kythnos island, Greece. It most likely got its name from the first residents of the island, the Dryopes. A few years ago it was nominated as a traditional settlement because of its architecture. The village now has about 800 residents (2001 census) but its population is shrinking year by year. Dryopida is home to the Folklore Museum of Kythnos which has traditional uniforms and objects of everyday use.
