Dubai World Central Commercial City
Dubai World Central Commercial City is the district in Dubai that acts as the center of activities in the rest of Dubai World Central. There will be more than 850 towers ranging from 1-45 stories tall, along with 25 hotels ranging from 3 to 5 star and other amenities.[1] The urban will include 1400 ha site and be the workplace for an estimated 225,000 people.[2]
Zones
Dubai World Central Commercial City is further split into eight zones. Examples of what these zones contain are as follows.
- Urban Village: Mid-to-high end low density living, along with amenities.
- Lake District: Community hub focused on retail, leisure, and office based around a lake.
- Seven Towers: Two Kilometer park, retail, leisure, and two transit stations.
- Central Park: A 7 kilometre long plaza on the water edge.
- Creative Commercial District: Hub for media, fashion, and other creative industries.
- Grand Central: Central hub and gateway between Dubai and the Dubai World Central
- Business District: Finances and Banking.
- Residential Crescent: Luxury residential center.[3]
