Duda Sanadze (born July 25, 1992) is a Georgian basketball player for San Diego Toreros and the Georgian national team, where he participated at the EuroBasket 2015.[1]
Sanadze, a senior forward, scored 38 points — a USD Division-I record — in USD’s win over Portland on Saturday, his final regular-season game, and two days later was rewarded with his first conference player of the week honors. The 85-76 victory snapped a six-game losing streak for the Toreros (9-20, 4-14 WCC).
During the Eurobasket205 2nd Qualification Round, Sanadze averaged 7.5 points per game and led the whole tournament in three-point shooting percentage at 71.4% (10-of-14).
A native of Tbilisi, Georgia, Sanadze had been playing with the U20 European Division A team where he averaged 17.2 points (2nd highest) and 5.3 rebounds per game helping them to a second place finish... Was named best young player in Georgia in 2012... Was named Most Improved Player in 2012.
