Dutch Reformed Church in Namibia
The Dutch Reformed Church in South Africa began mission work in Namaqualand in 1880. First congregation was formed in 1889. The denomination grew rapidly. The church is independent, but one with the Dutch Reformed Church in South Africa. It has 23,000 members in 43 congregations. The Dutch Reformed Church in Namibia adheres to the Apostles Creed, Athanasian Creed, Nicene Creed, and the Belgic Confession, and the Heidelberg Catechism.[1][2]
There are sister church relations with the Reformed Churches in South Africa.[3]
