Warta [ˈvarta] (German: Liebwart; Yiddish: Dvart) is a town in Sieradz County, Łódź Voivodeship, Poland, with 3,392 inhabitants (2004). It is situated on the Warta River. The town had a number of Jewish inhabitants who were sent to the Ghettos and eventually to the concentration camps during World War II.
