Entrepreneurship & Management Process International (EMPI) is an AICTE approved B-school situated in Delhi, India. It is located at CSKM Educational Institute, Satbari, Chattarpur, New Delhi. Prompted by late Chairman Col. Satsangi in the year 1994, to fill a need for establishing a management education center at the CSKM Educational Complex and preparation of a blue print for setting an institution which will nurture giftedness by Psychologist-Consultant Pankaj, the concept got concretized when former Director BHEL, Sr. Management Consultant Commonwealth (UK) & President IEEMA Mr. Gurnam Saran, stepped in as EMPI’s founder President.
History
EMPI was set up in 1994 by Chairman Gurnam Saran. In building together all round excellence, EMPI have been the proud beneficiary of continuous interaction with EMPI founder, Chairman Emeritus ITC Ltd., Ajit Narain Haksar, who remained not only EMPI Patron Chairman for more than a decade but also an omnipresent friend, philosopher and guide. Since his demise in 2005, the baton of providing guidance to EMPI Institutions was passed on to Dr. N.C.B. Nath, former Professor, IIMs (Ahmedabad & Bangalore) and later into the hands of Dr. D.V. Kapur Simultaneously, Mr. P. S. Bami, former Chairman became the Chairman of EMPI’s Expert Advisory Council and Dr. S. P. Verma the founder& Director.
In 2005, EMPI initiated the annual Indian Innovation Awards under the Mission Innovative India with the blessings of the President of India, A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. The following year, The Boston Consulting Group joined in as the Research Partner and Process Validator and the awards were re-christened as the ‘ EMPI-Indian Express Innovation Awards’ with the joining in of the leading national group – The Indian Express. The Awards celebrate innovative corporate, non-corporate, government and network organizations as role models by documenting and disseminating their innovative stories It has been awarded Dainik Bhaskar Leadership Award for Best curriculum in Advertising to EMPI- AdCom.
