EasyPost is an American software company that helps businesses integrate shipping from the major carriers. The company has received $3 million in funding.[1][2]

Business

EasyPost was founded in 2012 and is headquartered in San Francisco, California.[1] EasyPost has eight employees, and ships millions of shipments each month through its API.[1]

Developers can integrate the EasyPost API instead of integrating the carriers' SOAP / XML APIs. EasyPost allows business to integrate tracking statuses, address verification, label purchasing, rating, and more from DHL Global Mail, FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other regional carriers into their site or application.[1][3]

History

In early 2012, Jarrett Streebin began working on EasyPost after experiencing the difficulty of integrating shipping APIs. His goal was to simplify shipping online across all the major carriers.[1]

In May 2013, EasyPost received a seed funding from Y Combinator, SV Angel, and CrunchFund[2] and has raised $3 million to date.[1]
