The Ecuadorian piedtail (Phlogophilus hemileucurus) is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family. It is found in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is becoming rare due to habitat loss.
