Eddie López (boxer)

Eddie "the Animal" Lopez is a former United States heavyweight boxing champion from East Los Angeles.[1]

Eddie Lopez once drew (tied) with former world Heavyweight champion Leon Spinks. Eddie had a minor, but speaking role in Rocky II, playing a boxer training in the then retired Italian Stallion's gym. Eddie's character repeatedly taunts Rocky for his avoidance of another match with Apollo Creed and at one point hits Rocky with his mouth rinse out intended for a bucket carried by the former heavyweight contender.
