EdgeVerve Systems Limited (commonly known as EdgeVerve) is a product subsidiary company of Infosys Limited (NYSE: INFY), a global consulting and IT services company based out of Bangalore, India.[3] EdgeVerve develops and sells enterprise software products for on-premises or cloud-hosted business platforms. EdgeVerve products are focused on banking, customer service, ecosystem management, and enterprise procurement.[4] The company is headquartered in Bangalore. EdgeVerve has 6500 employees and generates revenue USD $500 million.[5][6] As of 2016, EdgeVerve operates in four geographic regions: Europe, Americas, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa.

History

In February 2014, Infosys incorporated EdgeVerve to develop and sell its products, platforms and solutions (PPS), with the exception of its banking and financial services product suite, Finacle.[5] In October 2014, Michael Reh was appointed as the senior vice president of Finacle.[7] In August 2015, Infosys merged Finacle – its core banking solution – with EdgeVerve to consolidate all Infosys products under EdgeVerve.[6][8]

Products

AssistEdge

AssistEdge is a customer service product built on a .NET and J2EE platforms for customer service agents.[9] Its features include context-passing capabilities, self-help technology and unified dashboards.[10]

TradeEdge

TradeEdge was developed by Infosys in association with Proctor and Gamble and launched in 2013 by Infosys.[11] TradeEdge began as a retail trade platform aimed at emerging markets. Currently, it is delivered in the Cloud as an enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution.

Finacle

Finacle is Infosys’ core banking product that was launched in 2000 and moved to EdgeVerve in 2015. It is a suite of products for e-banking, wealth management, mobile banking, customer relationship management, Islamic banking and wealth management, among others.[14] In November 2015, Infosys announced that Finacle would be available on Oracle Cloud, allowing banks that already have Finacle to move existing licenses onto cloud.[15]
