The Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Region also known as The Edinburgh City Region is an area in Scotland that comprises the council areas of Edinburgh, Fife East Lothian, West Lothian, Midlothian, and Scottish Borders. It is known that in the next 20 years the Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Region will become the most connected, creative, inclusive and entrepreneurial place in Europe.[1]
