Edman Ayvazyan (Armenian: Էդման Այվազյան, born 1939) London based Iranian-Armenian painter.
Biography
Edman Ayvazyan was born in Tehran. 1939-1948 studied at Tehran Tamadon School, 1964-1966 - Academy of Arts, Rome.[1] At the age of 16 Ayvazyan won "Young People" medal in International Art Competition, at the age of 25 he won the first prize given by Modern Iranian Painters and Iranian Cultural Ministry.
Ayvazyan has depicted Daredevils of Sassoun, the works of Hovhannes Tumanyan, has created many portraits, landscapes, seascapes. His works can be find in many churches museums including Lazar galley, House-Museum of Aram Khachaturian.[2]
