Edmund Fortescue (died 1624)

Edmund Fortescue (1560 1624) was an English Member of Parliament.

He was the eldest son of John Fortescue of Fallapit House, Devon and his wife Honora, the daughter of Edmund Speccot, and succeeded his father in 1595.

He was elected a Member (MP) of the Parliament of England for Old Sarum in 1593 and appointed High Sheriff of Devon for 1622–23.

He died in 1624 and was buried at East Allington, Devon. He had married Mary, the daughter of Henry Champernown of Modbury and had at least one son.
