Eduardo Cortes (born August 31, 1993) is a Mexican soccer player who currently plays for Saint Louis FC in the United Soccer League.

Career

Youth

Cortes spent the 2011-12 soccer season playing for FC Dallas U18 squad while trying to earn a spot with the professional team. He excelled at the Dallas Cup XXXII in matches against FC Barcelona, CS Cartagines and Japan’s U-18 National Team, allowing just two goals from point blank range.[1]

College

Cortes played his college career at Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis from 2012 to 2015 where he earned first team all conference as a freshman and senior and earned second team all conference as a sophomore and junior. As a senior he earned Third Team NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region.[2]

Professional

Cortes signed with USL club Saint Louis FC on March 31, 2016.[3]
