Education in Orpington

Education in Orpington, England, is managed by the London Borough of Bromley which is the Local Education Authority. Orpington is a suburban town that forms the south-eastern edge of London's urban sprawl and is one of thirty five major centres identified in the London Plan.[1]

Warren Road Primary School

Warren Road Primary School is a school that was established in 1938. It is a large school of over 700 pupils. The school was first opened in 1938 and since then has thrived with a swimming pool, a new canteen and three complexes that have been added in the last 20 years. Warren Road's colours are now green and white but were, originally, dark red with a green badge representing the emblem and motto of the county of Kent. The head teacher is currently Mrs S. Meckiff.
