Egersky Lifeguard regiment (Russian: Егерский лейб-гвардии полк) was a Jaeger regiment of the Russian Imperial Guard.
History
The regiment was formed in 1796 as a battalion. In 1806, it was reorganized and transformed into a regiment. The regiment participated in the Napoleonic Wars, Russo-Turkish War of 1828–1829, Polish campaign of 1830-1831, Russo-Turkish War of 1877–1878 and First World War.
