Eighton Banks
Eighton Banks is the most southerly area of Gateshead, England and just falls within the town's boundaries.[1] The area had a population of 613 in 2011.[2] It borders Harlow Green to the northwest, Wrekenton to the northeast and the town of Birtley to the south. It is home to the Ravensworth Golf club and the famous Angel of the North. It falls within the Lamesley ward of the Metropolitan borough of Gateshead.[3] It is also 2.6 miles south-southeast of Gateshead town centre.[4]
