Eiheiji (永平寺町 Eiheiji-chō) is a town located in Yoshida District, Fukui Prefecture, Japan. It is named after the Eihei-ji temple.

As of the 2010 national census, the town population is 20,641. The total area is 94.34 km².

On February 13, 2006 the town of Matsuoka and the village of Kamishihi, both from Yoshida District, were merged into the town of Eiheiji.
