Eileen is a 2015 novel by Ottessa Moshfegh, published by Penguin Press.[1][2] It is Moshfegh's second novel.[3] The novel was well received by The New York Times.[4]

Plot

The story of an unhappy young woman named Eileen in the 1960s and what happens to her during a bitter Massachusetts winter while she is 24.
