Ekatherina Andreeva

Ekatherina Sergeevna Andreeva (Russian: Екатери́на Серге́евна Андре́ева; born November 27, 1961, Moscow[1]) is a Russian journalist, actress,leading news program Vremya (since 1998) on the Channel One Russia.

Biography

Her father was a deputy chairman of the Gossnab of USSR, and her mother - a housewife. Ekaterina Andreeva has a younger sister, Svetlana.[1][2] As a child, fond of basketball, briefly studied at the School of Olympic Reserve.[1]

In 1990 he entered the All-union training courses for radio and television broadcasters (with the USSR Radio and Television). The studied with Igor Kirillov.

In 1991 he began to work in television. It was announcer Central Television and broadcasting company Ostankino, leading the program Good morning. Since 1995 - in the TV Company ORT: information program editor, presenter of the program Novosti.

Awarded the Order of Friendship (2006).[3] Laureate TEFI in the nomination Leading information program (2007).

In 2010, among the ten top Russian TV presenters.[4]

In August 2014 Ukraine included in the sanctions list of the position on the war in the east of Ukraine and the Crimea to Russia.[5]
