The Body (Spanish: El cuerpo) is a 2012 Spanish thriller film directed by Oriol Paulo.Upon release the film met with highly positive reviews. The film was unofficially remade in Tamil as Oru Melliya Kodu in 2016 and had a serious impact on Tamil film industry. Critics also pointed out that the film is also inspirational for the 2016 Malayalam movie Vettah even though doesn't have a similar plot.Both the movies met with instant box office success indicating the relevance of the story in all languages.
