Eldon No. 471, Saskatchewan, is a rural municipality of 1,473 rural residents (2006 census) in the northwestern part of Saskatchewan, Canada. Local Improvement District 24-5-3 was formed April 26, 1907. The RM of Eldon No. 471 was incorporated December 9, 1909.[1] Other localities in the area include the town of Maidstone and the village of Waseca.[2][3][4]

A rural municipality is an administrative district consisting of an elected reeve, councilors, administrator who provide essential services within their area.

ratepayers were assessed at five cents per acre, to be paid in cash or work them out at two dollars per day.
