Eleuterio Fernandez Huidobro (born March 14, 1942 in Montevideo) is a Uruguayan politician, journalist, and writer. He's popularly known as "El Ñato".

A former member of the MLN-T (Tupamaros), he was in prison during the military dictatorship (1973-1985).

He is the current Minister of Defense.[1][2]
