Elite Airways is an airline based in the United States operating charter flights headquartered in Portland, Maine.

Elite Airways LLC was founded in 2006 and received FAA Part 121 scheduled certification in 2012.[1] When they obtained their scheduled authority they stated that the airline intended to begin scheduled passenger flights to and from Orlando Melbourne International Airport, the airline's operating base, although no scheduled passenger routes were announced until July 28, 2014 when the airline said it would begin twice-weekly service between Melbourne and Washington Dulles International Airport on September 8, 2014.[2] Flights went on sale August 25, 2014 utilizing Branson Air Express as the ticketing airline.[3]

In November the airline began operating the Branson Air Express flights from Branson Airport to Chicago Midway Airport and Houston Hobby Airport. For the summer 2015 season, Elite will operate from Branson to Houston and Denver.

The airline announced that service from Northern Colorado's Fort Collins-Loveland Airport to both Newark Liberty International Airport and Chicago Rockford International Airport will begin on August 27, 2015.[4]

The airline has announced flights starting December 10, 2015 from Vero Beach Municipal Airport to Newark Liberty International Airport,[5] representing the first-ever commercial scheduled jet service at the Vero Beach Municipal Airport.

In early 2016, Elite Airways introduced scheduled service between the Naples Municipal Airport in southwest Florida to Newark Liberty International Airport, Orlando Melbourne International Airport, Vero Beach Municipal Airport, and the Portland International Jetport in Maine, representing the first return of commercial service to the Naples Municipal Airport since 2006.[6]

In March 2016, the airline announced the re-start of twice-weekly service between Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport and Chicago-Rockford International Airport starting May 23, 2016.[7]

In July, Elite Airways will resume flights from Branson with service to Denver and Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport in a codeshare agreement with Great Lakes Airlines.

As of 2016, the airline operates a fleet of seven Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft fitted with 50 passenger seats, with four Bombardier CRJ-700 aircraft fitted with 70 seats.[8]
