Eliza Amy Hodgson
Eliza Amy Hodgson (10 October 1888 – 7 January 1983) was a New Zealand botanist who specialized in liverworts. Self-educated, she published her first scientific paper at the age of 42. She became a Fellow of the Linnean Society of London and the Royal Society of New Zealand.[1]
The standard author abbreviation E.A.Hodgs. is used to indicate this individual as the author when citing a botanical name.[2]
