Elizabeth Bradley (professor)

Elizabeth Bradley is an American professor, originally from Canada. She was the head of drama at Carnegie Mellon University, and since June 1, 2008 has worked as Chair of the Department of Drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts as part of a three-year appointment in that position.[1] She earned a BFA degree in theatre from York University in Toronto[2] and has produced several acclaimed stage shows. She has also worked as a programming consultant for the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, as general manager and CEO of the Hummingbird Centre and as director of communications and special projects at the Stratford Festival.[2]

She was the founding artistic director of the Pittsburgh International Festival of Firsts in 2004, and is a former Chair of the International Society for the Performing Arts Foundation in the United States.[2]
