Elizabeth Kiss

Elizabeth Kiss (born 1961) is serving as the eighth president of Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia.

Biography

Kiss received her undergraduate degree in 1983 from Davidson College and was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University, where she received her D.Phil in 1990.

Prior to joining Agnes Scott, she was the Nannerl O. Keohane director of the Kenan Institute for Ethics and an associate professor of the practice of political science and philosophy at Duke University. Kiss has taught at Randolph-Macon College, Princeton University, and Deep Springs College. Kiss also was a fellow at Harvard University and with the National Humanities Center.
