Eallapalayam, located within Erode panchayat union,[1] one of the suburban areas of Erode has an average population.[2] Agriculture is the major occupations in this village. The city buses (route no 38 and 30) connect with Erode and Sivagiri.A Government elementary school has one to fifth standards. Here all farms are irrigated by open well, bore well and LBP(lower bhavani project)irrigation system.
