Ellen Wessinghage
Ellen Wessinghage (born Ellen Tittel; 28 June 1948 in Müglitztal, Saxony) is a German track and field athlete. She ran the 1500 m in the 1970s. In the 1980s she moved into more long distance runs, including the 3000 m, 5000 m, and 10,000 m. From 1973 to 1976 she was married to fellow athlete Paul-Heinz Wellmann. In 1977 she married another athlete, Thomas Wessinghage.[1]
