Emanuele Zanini (born April 15, 1965 in San Giovanni del Dosso, Lombardy, Italy) is a volleyball coach from Italy. He is the head coach of the Turkey men's national team since August 2013.[1]
He studied physical education at the University of Bologna graduating in 1988.[1][2]
Becoming head coach in 2000, Zanini coached in his career several teams in Italy and also in Austria and Slovakia. In two years between 1999-2000, he served as the assistant coach and physical trainer of the Italy men's national volleyball team. From 2008 on, he coached Slovakia men's national team four seasons leading to their greatest results in history.[1][2]
In August 2013, he was appointed head coach of the Turkey men's national team for three years. He succeeded Bosnian-born Frenchman Veljko Basic, who served at this post from 2010. Zanini will coach in the same time the team Beauvais Oise UC Volley in France.[1][2][3] [4]
