From 2000 - 2012, the Emerald Theatre (now the Macomb Music Theatre) was a live mixed-use entertainment and concert venue located in downtown Mt. Clemens, Michigan.
In July 2012, the Emerald Theatre was padlocked in foreclosure by Talmer Bank and Trust, closing the venue.[1] On November 5, 2012, the theater was purchased by Marc Beginin, a Michigan-based entertainment attorney, who began renovations of the historic property at an anticipated cost in excess of $2.5 million.[2]
Under new ownership, it was renamed the Macomb Music Theatre. Renovations were completed and it reopened in 2013.[3]
