Emily Carey is a British child actress best known for the role of Grace Beauchamp in BBC Casualty [1]

Career

Emily made her West End debut in the role of Young Shrek/Grumpy/Young Fiona in Shrek The Musical at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.She then went on to play Marta Von Trapp in The Sound of Music at the Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park[2][3] and subsequently performed in the same role live at The Laurence Olivier Awards 2014 ceremony at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.[4]

Carey also appeared in Idina Menzel and Michael Bublé's "Baby It's Cold Outside" 2014 music video from Menzel's new album, Holiday Wishes.[5][6]

Cast as Grace Beauchamp in the popular Saturday night BBC drama Casualty (TV series). Emily made her first appearance on 29 November 2014 in the episode 'Losing Grip'.[7] Her character 'Grace' a semi regular in the series appears in several episodes into 2015.[8][9][10]

In the summer of 2015 Emily began filming the semi regular role of Mary Conan Doyle in the new 10 Part drama Houdini & Doyle due to air in the spring of 2016 on Fox (USA), ITV Encore (UK) and Shaw Media (Canada).[11]

Carey returns to BBC Casualty in 2016 resuming the role of Grace Beauchamp.

Emily studies at West End Masterclass in London, UK.[12]
