Empire Arts Center

The Empire Arts Center is a movie theatre in downtown Grand Forks, North Dakota United States. It was built in 1919. It was renovated in 1998 due to damage from the 1997 Red River flood and now is a center for the arts in the Greater Grand Forks metropolitan area.

The Center includes an art gallery that displays works from the University of North Dakota Art Collections.[1] The collection includes works by such artists as Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali and Audrey Flack, and the media includes paintings, sculptures, ceramics, drawings, textiles, jewelry and metalwork.[2] The gallery also hosts changing exhibits of art by regional, national and international artists.
