Emrys Hughes is a Welsh professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s, playing at representative level for Wales, and at club level for Huddersfield, as a prop, or second-row, i.e. number 8 or 10, or, 11 or 12.[1]

Playing career

International honours

Emrys Hughes won caps for Wales while at Huddersfield in 1938 against England, and in 1939 against France.[2]

County Cup final appearances

Emrys Hughes Left-second-row, i.e. number 11, in Huddersfield's 18–10 victory over Hull in the 1938 Yorkshire Cup final during the 1938–39 season at Odsal Stadium, Bradford on Saturday 22 October 1938.
