enRoute (magazine)

enRoute is the in-flight magazine and entertainment system of Air Canada. All content in the monthly magazine is published in both French and English by Spafax. In 2009 the magazine won 10 awards at the Canadian National Magazine Awards.[1] The magazine is headquartered in Montreal, Quebec.

Magazine and other services

The magazine is offered for free on all Air Canada flights and in their Maple Leaf Lounges. The publisher of the magazine is Spafax Canada Inc.[2]

As well as the magazine, on most Air Canada flights, enRoute also offers in-flight programming of movies, television, radio and short films.[3]

Air Canada enRoute Film Festival

The magazine runs the Air Canada enRoute Film Festival. The festival began in 2007[4] and is hosted annually.[5] The festival has a different jury each year consisting of film industry professionals including famous actors, writers, directors and producers. The festival's purpose is to generate exposure for emerging filmmakers.
