Enkuru
Enkuru is a village Grama Panchayat in enkoor mandal, khammam District of Telangana state. Enkuru Gramapanchayat consists of two villages i.e. Enkoor and Garloddu or Garlavoddu.. The total area of this village grampanchayat is 742 Hectares. As per 2011 census total 1712 families residing in this Grampanchayat area. It has population of 6428 of which 3328 are males while 3080 are females. This Gram Panchayat is administered by Sarpanch who is elected representative of village.In Enkuru village Gramapanchyat area there is Famous Hindu Temple i.e. Garlavoddu Temple and an Ashrami.e S.S.M Ashramam are located here.
Garlavoddu Temple
- This Temple is the one of the famous temple in Khammam District . This temple is dedicated to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. This Temple was founded by late Maddigunta Thirupataiah and presently it is the under management of its founder Trustee Maddigunta Narasimha Rao who has been recognized as founder trustee by the then Andhra pradesh Endowment's Department.In this temple premises there are 3 temples complex. The main temple dedicated to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy while other two temples dedicates to Goddess Peddamma Talli and Goddess Andalu respectively. This temple has a big mukha mantapam with a dimensions of 60x60 feet which is considered as a big one among khammam District temples.
