Enormous Door is an album by Dutch post-punk band The Ex and Brass Unbound, a quartet of horn players hailing from four different countries, who adopted their name from Johan van der Keuken's 1993 film, Bewogen Koper.[1] The Ex and Brass Unbound had been touring as a live act since 2010 and backed Ethiojazz legend Getatchew Mekuria on his 2012 album. Released in 2013, Enormous Door features new and reworked material by The Ex and songs originally performed by Mahmoud Ahmed and Konono Nº1.[2]
