ENSOGO is a social commerce website that offers members discounted daily deals on restaurants, hotel accommodations, spa services, beauty treatments, activities and retail products in Thailand,[2] Philippines and Indonesia.

History

Ensogo started as a legal entity in Thailand in 2009 and soon expanded its operations to Philippines and Indonesia in 2011.[3] In June, 2011, Ensogo was acquired by LivingSocial.[4] The acquisition extended to Ensogo in Thailand, Philippines as well as Indonesia. The acquisition is in line with LivingSocial’s objective to partner with companies which had similar values and ways of doing business.

Ensogo Philippines

Ensogo expanded and set up business in Manila, Philippines in July 2010.[5] In The Philippines, Ensogo Philippines offers members discounted deals in Manila and Cebu. Among Ensogo Philippines partners in 2011 include Yahoo Philippines, which featured their deals on its website.[6] In the same year, Ensogo has also partnered with local bank Banco De Oro for 4 months.[7] By June 2011, Ensogo officially joined the LivingSocial family.

Ensogo Indonesia

Ensogo Indonesia also known as DealKeren which translates to “cool deal” in English, was established in August 2010, following the success of online daily deal companies that were earning big money in the U.S.[8] Deal Keren provides discounts for Food, Fun, Travel, Beauty, Electronics and Fashion Products and it was acquired by LivingSocial in June, 2011.[9]

Ensogo Thailand

Ensogo Indonesia also known as DealKeren which translates to “cool deal” in English, was established in August 2010, following the success of online daily deal companies that were earning big money in the U.S.[10] Deal Keren provides discounts for Food, Fun, Travel, Beauty, Electronics and Fashion Products and it was acquired by LivingSocial in June, 2011.[11]
