Era International School

Era International School ( EIS ) promoted by Era Educational Society, is a residential and day boarding school in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is seven kilometers from the headquarter town of Anantapur, and is situated on a five-acre campus.

The school offers a pre-primary programme: pre-nursery, and lower and upper kindergarten. There is a primary school programme for Class I to V, and a middle school programme for Class VI to VIII. Classes are taught in English, and follow the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) syllabus.

History

The school was founded by Ashish Deb, Col. T D Prasad (Retired), Ex Vice President – Service Selection Board (Indian Army), Dr. Revathi Susarla, Sumathi Ravichander and Swami Nathan.[1]

Sports and extracurricular activities

EIS has basketball court, badminton court, volleyball court, skating rink, squash court, cricket nets, table tennis and swimming pool.

Extracurricular activities include dance, drama, music, art and craft, writing, photography, martial art, yoga and athletics. Students are also trained in Vedic mathematics and entrepreneurship.

The school celebrated International Women's Day on 8 March 2014.
