Eric S. Pistorius (born 1956), is a Circuit court Judge of the Seventh Circuit of Illinois, residing from Jerseyville, Illinois. He used to be an attorney at law for his law firm and specialized in the areas of: personal injury, litigation, criminal defense, and collections.
Educational background
He attended high school at Jersey Community High School. After he graduated high school, he attended Western Illinois University, where he received his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. He then transferred to Southern Illinois University where he received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.[1]
Career as lawyer
He was admitted to practice law in Illinois in 1984 and in Missouri in 1986. He then opened up his law firm and practiced in Jerseyville until he became Judge.
Career as judge
Pistorius became a judge of the Seventh Circuit of Illinois.[2]
