Erkki Juhani Laine (September 13, 1957 - August 22, 2009) was a Finnish ice hockey player. He won a silver medal at the 1988 Winter Olympics, in Calgary, Alberta.
His daughter, Emma Laine, is one of the top Finnish tennis players.[1]
Laine drowned while on a boat trip on August 22, 2009. His boat and one of his shoes were found two days later. Laine's body was discovered on August 25, 2009.[2]
