Erling Johannes Norvik
Erling Johannes Norvik (27 April 1899 – 27 November 1964) was a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party.
He was born in Trondenes.
He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from the Market towns of Nordland, Troms and Finnmark in 1950, and was re-elected on two occasions.
Norvik was a member of Vadsø city council from 1931 to 1936, and later of its executive committee in the period 1947–1951. He chaired the local party chapter (1925-1926, 1939-1940, 1948) and the regional chapter (1948-1952), and was a member of the national Conservative Party board from 1950 to 1961.
Outside politics he worked as the regional director of taxes. He is the father of Erling Norvik.
