Ernest Luckman (5 March 1926 - July 1988) birth registered in Pontefract district, was a professional rugby league footballer of the 1940s and '50s, playing at club level for Featherstone Rovers, and Wakefield Trinity (Heritage #566), as a fullback, i.e. number 1.[1]

Ernest Luckman played fullback, in Wakefield Trinity's 17-3 victory over Keighley in the 1951 Yorkshire Cup final during the 1951–52 season at Fartown Ground, Huddersfield on Saturday 27 October 1951.[2]

Ernest Luckman's marriage to Elizabeth Micklefield was registered during January→March 1956 in Wakefield district.[3]
