Ernst Orzegowski (19 October 1919 – 2 August 2005) was a highly decorated Leutnant in the Luftwaffe during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Ernst Orzegowski was credited with 3 aerial victories and the destruction of 31 tanks in 682 missions.
